Exactly what does Croct send into Clarity for each session?
before i connect clarity i want a precise inventory of what gets attached to each session. partly for my tracking plan and partly to be sure nothing sensitive is going across.
so ideally a list of the actual fields:
- what dimensions land on the session
- whether any profile data rides along
- what i can then do with it on the clarity side

Here is the exact inventory of what Croct attaches to each session in Clarity:
- The audiences the visitor fits.
- The experiences that impacted them.
- The experiments they participated in.
- The variants they were assigned.
That is the whole set. No personal or profile data is sent, only those segmentation dimensions. There is nothing like name, email, or profile attributes in the payload, so there is no PII crossing into Clarity.
On the Clarity side, those dimensions are what let you filter recordings and heatmaps by an exact audience, experiment, or variant. The connection itself is one-time and no-code, and outbound only, so Croct never reads recordings back.
