Where do I actually see A/B results when content lives in Strapi?

Asked by Gareth L on

I am a marketing technologist, more tool-stack than code. We have an experiment running on a hero section, content managed in Strapi, experiment set up in Croct by our dev team.

I assumed the results would show up somewhere in the Strapi admin next to the content, since that is where I go for everything content related. Clicked through every panel and there is nothing.

Where do results actually live, and what metrics do I get out of the box? I want to know before I go asking for extra dashboards to be built

Results live in the Croct dashboard, not the Strapi admin. Strapi remains the content source only, it has no idea an experiment is running on top of it. Ask whoever set up the experiment to give you access to the Croct workspace, and you will find the results attached to the experiment itself.

What you get out of the box, no extra dashboards needed:

  • Conversion performance per variant against the experiment's primary goal.
  • Drill-down by device, audience, time window, and custom events.
  • Statistics are Bayesian and the analytics are unsampled, meaning every session counts rather than a percentage extrapolated.

The one to watch is the recommended winner: it appears when a variant's probability to be best exceeds 95% and the potential loss is under 0.1%. Until that shows up, treat the numbers as in progress rather than a result, no matter how tempting an early lead looks.
