Draft, Active, Paused, Scheduled, Archived, what is the actual lifecycle of an experience?
I am writing up our team's process doc and I keep running into different status labels on experiences without a clear map of how they relate.
Can someone lay out the full lifecycle? I want to know what each status means and in particular what a visitor actually sees in each one, so the doc is accurate and not just me guessing from the UI labels.

Accepted answerAn experience moves through five statuses: Draft, Active, Paused, Scheduled, and Archived.
- Draft: still being built, not serving anyone. Visitors see the default slot content.
- Active: live and serving. Matching visitors get the experience content; everyone else falls back to the default.
- Paused: temporarily stopped. While paused, the experience serves the default slot content, so pausing is a safe way to take it offline without losing the configuration.
- Scheduled: set to activate (or deactivate) at a future time. Until it activates, visitors see the default content.
- Archived: retired. Archiving keeps a finished experience out of the active list without deleting it, so you can retire old work while keeping the history.
One thing to note on Scheduled: it relies on scheduled publishing, which is a Scale-plan feature. On other plans you would activate manually rather than set a future time.
