Draft, Active, Paused, Scheduled, Archived, what is the actual lifecycle of an experience?

I am writing up our team's process doc and I keep running into different status labels on experiences without a clear map of how they relate.

Can someone lay out the full lifecycle? I want to know what each status means and in particular what a visitor actually sees in each one, so the doc is accurate and not just me guessing from the UI labels.
