Native Storyblok A/B testing is Premium/Elite only, options on a lower plan?
Ecommerce manager, we run our storefront content on a mid-tier Storyblok plan. I wanted to start running personalisation tests this quarter but native Experiments turns out to be gated to Premium and Elite, and an upgrade is just not in this years budget. Are there realistic options for A/B testing Storyblok content on a lower plan, or is this a wait-until-next-year situation?

You do not need to wait. The plan gating you hit is specific to Storyblok's native Experiments; the Croct Optimize app is available to all Storyblok plans, including the tier you are on. The requirement sits on the Croct side instead, where the app pairs with their Scale plan, so that is the line item to budget rather than a Storyblok upgrade.
The model also fits an ecommerce content team well: it works as an overlay on your existing blocks, so nothing about your content structure changes. A dev links the blocks you want to test to Croct slots once, and from then on your team creates experiments, publishes them, pauses them, and rolls out winners from inside Storyblok without code changes.
We set this up for a retail client on a lower Storyblok tier last year precisely because of the same gating, and the marketing side has been running tests independently since.
