What exactly do I get on the free plan before I need to pay?
I am the CTO of a 5-person startup evaluating Croct for our marketing site and I want the hard numbers before I put it in front of the team. The pricing page lists a forever-free tier but I want to be sure about the actual limits: MAU, number of slots, number of experiments, data retention. Which limit do people typically hit first? We do maybe 6k monthly visitors right now. No interest in a sales call, just the facts please.

The forever-free plan is $0 with no credit card required, and these are the limits:
- Up to 10,000 MAU (unique users who interact with your site in a month).
- 3 content slots.
- 1 experience or experiment (one total, not one of each).
- 1-day profile explorer window.
Feature-wise, the free plan is not a trial: it already includes personalization, A/B testing, server-side rendering support, and unsampled analytics.
On data retention: profiles, sessions, and events are kept for 1 day on the free plan, while aggregated analytics is kept for 90 days on all plans, so your experiment results are not affected by the short profile window.
At 6k monthly visitors you are comfortably inside the MAU limit. The limit teams usually reach first is the single experience or experiment, since it caps how many things you can run at once. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
