Do we need extra tracking code to get Croct experiment data into GA4?
Ecommerce manager, not a developer. We already have GA4 running on the store and Croct is integrated for personalization. My team wants to see which experiments and audiences a visitor was in when analyzing funnels in GA4.
Our dev team is booked solid this quarter so I need to know upfront: does getting Croct data into GA4 require them to instrument anything, or is it something I can switch on myself? would save me a whole sprint negotiation

No extra tracking code is needed. The GA4 integration is a one-time project connection made from the Croct dashboard, with no changes to your site or theme, so you can set it up without developer time.
Once connected, Croct streams the following into your existing GA4 property:
- The audiences each visitor fits.
- The experiences that impacted them.
- The experiments they participated in.
- The variants they were assigned.
From that point on, your GA4 funnels and reports can be segmented by those dimensions, so your team can compare behavior by audience or by experiment variant in the reports they already use.
The connection steps are listed on the GA4 entry of the Croct integrations catalog.
