# On FastStore my profiles have no name or email, is enrichment broken?

Asked by Priya Nair on 2026-08-27. Tags: vtex, faststore, profiles.

I am on a FastStore build and I expected checkout to enrich my profiles with
the customer name and email, the way I saw it described for the integration.
Instead the profiles stay anonymous even after a shopper completes an order.

Events are clearly arriving, so tracking behaviour seems fine. Have I
misconfigured the enrichment step, or is this expected on FastStore?

Nothing is misconfigured. Profile enrichment with name, email, phone, and
address is available only on Store Framework. FastStore sends analytics
events, and those events do not carry user data, so enrichment is not
available there by design.

The events themselves still fire on FastStore, so your audiences and
experiments keep working from the behavioural signals exactly as you are
seeing. What you lose is only the personal-data attributes on the profile.

If you need to attach known user data on FastStore, you can do it yourself:
identify the user and set attributes through the SDK. The
[VTEX integration reference](https://docs.croct.com/immersion/integrations/ecommerce/vtex)
covers which events each stack carries, and setting profile fields manually
is described under [custom user attributes](https://docs.croct.com/reference/user/custom-attributes).
