# Where do I actually see a single visitor's event timeline in Croct?

I just turned on tracking and I want to inspect what one specific visitor did,
step by step, rather than only looking at the aggregate charts.

Is that per-visitor view part of analytics, or does it live somewhere else in
the dashboard? I keep landing on the charts and I cannot find a single person's
activity anywhere.

The per-visitor view is not in analytics. It lives in the profile explorer,
which shows the individual profile for a single visitor along with an
activity timeline of that person's events in chronological order. Every
event Croct recorded for that profile is listed there, so you can follow the
journey one step at a time instead of reading aggregates.

A profile holds three kinds of data for that visitor: statistical,
behavioral, and personal. The timeline sits alongside those attributes, so
you see both who the profile is and what they did. See the

If you want to watch activity as it happens rather than after the fact, the
[live sessions view](https://docs.croct.com/guide/live-sessions) streams what
